anyone know where to find dental care in KY for low income child?

My daughter (lives with Dad), has no insurance. Just found out she’s gonna need all four wisdom teeth removed and dentist says will cost 3000.00 to be paid in advance. Any clinics (free?) in central part of the state ( she’s in Madison County ) step grandmother they live with makes too much money for them to qualify for medicare.

I had problems getting dental care at an affordable price at one point, so I know what you’re going through and I know the physical pain your daughter is enduring. I ended up going to a dental school and a student worked on me and eventually went to a regular dentist. Try to find a free clinic in the area or the surrounding area. Some of them offer dental care at a much lower (or maybe even nothing) cost for those who qualify, and it’s important to help your daughter soon. I don’t know anything about KY or its counties, but I tried to find a clinic with the info you gave, and all I found that might be helpful is this:

I know all it says specifically about Madison County is the detention center, but do you think you might be eligible for any of the clinics mentioned?

Call the clinics and ask them if you and/or your daughter are eligible. Hopefully that works and they offer some dental services. If the free clinic idea doesn’t work, try a dental school. If that doesn’t work, then try to contact the dentists in your area to see if they are willing to offer discounts. Good luck.
